Another Great Year for Profit Sharing Contributions

Above-target performance in 2024

Thanks to your hard work, collaboration, and commitment to our business, last year’s results exceeded our financial goals. We’re excited to announce that we have collectively surpassed our 4% profit sharing contribution target. Based on K-C’s earnings-per-share results, K-C contributed 4.5% of your eligible 2024 earnings to your 401(k) & Profit Sharing Plan (PSP) account on February 7, 2025—a total contribution of more than $65 million.

To see how much K-C contributed to your account, go to the Wealth section of the My K-C Benefits app and log in to NetBenefits.

But wait...there's more!

Remember, the profit sharing contribution is in addition to the amount that K-C already contributes to your 401(k) with the Company match, providing a nice boost to your retirement savings!

Tips for Staying Healthy, Wealthy, (and Wise) in 2025

Make the most of them with the tips and reminders to help you plan a healthy, prosperous 2025.

Make the Most of Your Preventive Care

Taking small steps to prevent health problems is more effective and less costly than waiting to deal with a chronic issue later. K-C’s preventive health benefits make it easy for you to be proactive about your medical, dental, and vision care.

Here are some ways to make the most of the benefits you’re enrolled in (if applicable) to stay on top of your physical health:

Establish a relationship with a primary care doctor. Good medical care starts with regularly seeing a primary care doctor, who can coordinate overall care, provide referrals to specialists, and help you stay on top of age-recommended screenings.

Take advantage of free preventive medical care. Our K-C medical plan covers preventive services like annual physical exams, immunizations, and age-related screenings (e.g., mammograms, prostate cancer screenings, colonoscopies) at 100% when you go to an in-network provider. Scheduling regular preventive care is an investment in yourself and allows you to identify serious health issues early.

Schedule regular dental cleanings and exams. It’s important to stay on top of your oral health, as gum disease and other dental issues are often indicators of other medical issues, such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. K-C’s dental plan covers preventive and diagnostic care at 100%.

Have your eyes checked annually. With screen time being a reality for all of us, regular eye exams are a good idea, even if you don’t wear contact lenses or glasses. K-C’s vision plan through EyeMed covers an annual exam at 100% after a $15 copay, with generous allowances for frames and lenses.

For more information on how the plans cover services, go to the Health section of the My K-C Benefits app.

Give Your Financial Security a Boost

Here are some ways you can create peace of mind when it comes to your finances and savings goals:

Build your emergency savings. Fidelity’s Goal Booster program makes it simple to successfully set aside money into an emergency fund, a rainy-day fund, or even an “uh oh” account. Even a small monthly savings can go a long way. To learn more and start saving, go to the Wealth section of the My K-C Benefits app and select Financial Wellbeing Support/Boost Your Savings.

Make sure you have beneficiaries on file. It’s important to let K-C know where you want your money and benefits to go if something unexpected happens to you. Your 401(k) plan, life insurance policies, and Health Savings Account (HSA) require you to designate beneficiaries.

To view or update your beneficiaries using the My K-C Benefits app, go to Resources > Update Beneficiaries.

Review your estate planning documents. Don’t have a will? Consider creating one in 2025 to ensure that clear instructions are in place for your loved ones. Enrolled in K-C’s legal insurance plan through LegalEase? Estate planning and will preparation services are covered when you use a participating network attorney.

Treat Your Heart to Something Sweet

If you’re focused on improving your health through nutrition, you may skip dessert altogether. But just because you put in the work to keep your heart healthy doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice sweets to reach your goals. Instead you can make your own desserts and focus on using heart-healthy ingredients, such as fresh fruits, nuts, whole grains, oats, and even dark chocolate.

February celebrates both American Heart Health and Valentine’s Day. These decadent brownies can fulfill your chocolate craving without expanding your waistline. In each satisfying serving, you’ll find only 110 calories and 6 grams of fat. What’s not to love?

Recipe: Dark Chocolate and Cherry Brownies

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 cup granular no-calorie sweetener
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup cherry preserves, sugar-free
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 5 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper; coat with cooking spray.
  3. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife.
  4. Combine flour, sugar, unsweetened cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl; stir with a whisk. Set aside.
  5. Combine cherry preserves, water, and oil in a small saucepan; bring to a boil.
  6. Add preserves mixture to flour mixture; stir well. Add egg and egg white; stir until smooth. Stir in semisweet chocolate chips.
